Through Sept. 21, we’re collecting school supplies for kids in need through organizations including Kids In Need Foundation, Greater Twin Cities United Way and Neighborhood House.
Drop off locations:
Golden Valley – private residence, 4720 Circle Down, drop at front steps 24/7
Crystal – Flour & Friends, 3549 Douglas Dr N, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
New Hope – SEPT. 20 ONLY, 5-7 P.M., at the SD43 annual picnic, Civic Center Park pavilion, 4411 Xylon Ave N

Backpack (16-inch)
Notebooks (wide-ruled, spiral-bound)
Pocket folders
Erasers (pink beveled)
Glue sticks (washable)
Box of markers (8 ct, standard colors)
Box of crayons (24 ct, standard colors)
Box of #2 pencils
Box of colored pencils (12 ct, standard colors)
Pencil pouch
Pair of scissors (5-inch blunt tip)
Pencil sharpener (with receptacle)

Since our Party’s inception on, April 15, 1944, we have continually worked to elect strong DFL candidates to public office, act as a voice for the people of our district, and to encourage all citizens to become politically active in their communities. The Minnesota DFL and SD 43 supports and works to enact the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party and strives to sustain the foundations in our Party’s grassroots history.
