2025 Elections

Thank you for voting for the DFL Supported candidates for Golden Valley City Council. The Golden Valley City Council candidates supported by DFL Senate District 43 – Tracey Fussey and Chris Queitzsch took #1 and #2 in every precinct in the city.

Local elections matter, and you turned out and voted. Thank you. We will continue to elevate candidates who represent DFL values and are willing to work hard to win elections.

Golden Valley City Council Letters of Support

Seven candidates have filed for two open seats on the Golden Valley City Council. The DFL has given letters of support to two candidates:

Hopkins School District Letters of Support

Five candidates have filed for three open seats on the Hopkins School Board. The DFL has given letters of support to all five candidates. Make sure to only choose three candidates to vote for from this list. Do not vote for all five or your vote will be invalidated.

Important Dates

Friday, Sept 19 – Absentee voting begins. Vote by mail or at City Hall (2nd Floor, City Clerk's Office, 7800 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, MN 55427) Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Tuesday, Oct 14 – Last day to pre-register before Election Day

People always have the option to register or update their registration when they vote in person on Election Day or when they vote early by absentee ballot.

Friday, Oct 17 – Early voting by Direct Ballot begins at City Hall at 8 am.

Residents who vote in person at City Hall are able to place their ballot into a tabulator just like on Election Day.

Tuesday, Nov 4 – Election Day
