What will this Legislation do?
Implement policies that impact healthy, vibrant aging across a person's lifespan by establishing a State level Cabinet that will:
Address access and barriers to health services, housing, transportaion, employment, social participation and inclusion, outdoor spaces, and buildings, plus more.
Focus on training programs for state agencies and local governmental units on how to serve and support older adults.
Collaborate with other state agencies and communities.

Get in on the grassroots level:
meet candidates for a variety of elected positions
elect your neighbors (or yourself) to be delegates to the Senate District Convention where we will endorse new representatives and state senator among other business
propose and vote on Resolutions - if there is an issue you are passionate about and would like to have it added to the DFL Party Platform or Action Agenda, you can submit a resolution for consideration at your precinct caucus.
Senate District 43 hosted "Neighbors for Nonviolence" event on Oct. 12 at Brookview in Golden Valley. Our featured speaker was Kate Richey from Moms Demand Action; our panelists were Rep.
